The short version

We don't use cookies, and we don't track you. Not "we minimise tracking" or "we anonymise it first" — there is no tracking to begin with. Nothing is stored in your browser, nothing follows you between sites, and nothing is sold to anyone.

Why we don't use cookies

A cookie banner exists to ask your permission for tracking. The honest answer to "can we track you?" is almost always no, so we built our sites so that question never has to be asked. Cookies are routinely sold to visitors as something that "improves your experience", but for the vast majority of websites their real purpose is to identify you, follow you across sessions and sites, and build a profile that gets used for advertising. We think that's a bad trade for a small business's customers, so lightmorphic sites simply don't do it. No consent popup, because there's nothing to consent to.

What we actually collect

Our analytics count visits: which pages were viewed, roughly how many visitors, and which country they were browsing from. That's it.

  • No cookies or local storage identifiers.
  • No individual visitor is ever identified or fingerprinted.
  • No cross-site tracking, ad networks, or data brokers.
  • Nothing is ever sold or shared with third parties.

Contact forms and Lightmorphic Chat

If you fill in a contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you chose to send us, purely so the business you contacted can reply. If you use Lightmorphic Chat, you provide your email address so a private reply link can be sent to you; conversations are encrypted on our servers, and exports of a conversation are password-protected so only the business owner can open them. We don't read your conversations, and we don't use them for anything beyond delivering the reply.

Your rights

Because we hold so little data, there's rarely anything to request, but if you'd like any personal data we do hold (such as a message you sent us) deleted or provided to you, contact the business whose site you used, or email us directly at privacy@lightmorphic.co.uk.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We won't quietly start tracking people; that's not how we build things.
